The UC Santa Barbara Insurance Graduate Program was established in 1986. We have it in our minds to train our members to become the next generation of insurance agents – insurance agents who earn big money, but at the same time have fun filming movies. Do insurance and films sound like an off pair?

Now really. After all, there is no better way to spread the good news on insurance than through films. We’d like to say that our members are very good at talking. Well, actually, they all are. Then again, films are much better salespersons than the average salesperson, but as you may well know, a film cannot close the sale.

Our members have the privilege of being trained thoroughly in the fine art of selling insurance. Our curriculum includes:

·           Product training
·           Sales trainings
·           Basic film production

Product Trainings
There are many types of insurance programs out there in the market today. It is not surprising since insurance is pretty much intertwined to life as well as life’s precious items. For the ordinary person, knowing about the myriad of insurance programs in the market today can be can cause information overload. At the UC Santa Barbara Insurance Graduate Program, we have regular product trainings that help our members demystify the different insurance programs being offered in the market today.

We have link ups with the different insurance providers and professional insurance agents who regularly visit our headquarters for educational meetings with our members.

Sales Trainings
It is not enough that our members know in-depth about the different insurance products available. Any salesperson must know how to sell his products. Our sales trainings mold our members so they become the top selling insurance agents in their niche.

Basic Film Production
Our basic film production course is very functional. It guides our members through the steps in making short films that they boast to their prospects as sales presentations. From conceptualization, production, and editing, we make sure our members do not get lost. Basic film production is a special class separate from our regular insurance classes (each of which is composed of product training and sales training). Members can enroll in this class at a significantly discounted rate when they enroll in a regular insurance class.
