About Premium Financing

Premium financing is a financing program for life insurance programs. Currently, premium financing is offered only to high net-worth individuals with combined assets totaling at least $4 million.

At its very basic, premium financing works this way: a premium financing company pays the premiums of the insurance policy of the insured individual. The insured individual then pays the premium financing company.

Premium financing answers a very basic need of high net worth individuals, which is to take out a large life insurance policy for their loved ones without sacrificing their liquidity. An interested individual can have his life insurance policy financed without even selling assets. He only needs to present a collateral equivalent to 25% to 100% of the total premium financing amount.
